Doors

Everybody has a calling.

No matter how big or small.

No matter where you are.

No matter what is going on.

You have a calling!

Through our God given passions our callings are revealed to us.

In a conversation with one of my closest friends, she said that she felt heart broken. She had in the past year gone on a missions trip to Africa and she greatly missed it. She said that her heart was broken in a good and a bad way; good in the fact that she ally wanted to go back, but bad in realizing of how comforted she felt and how little the people she helped had and how she felt like she should be doing more.

That is the truly a calling! When your heart is breaking for what is breaking God's heart! Her compassion for them has shaped her God calling.

But what do you do when you don't feel like you're living up to that calling?

You're in the place you are for a reason. God has put you in the place you are with open and closed doors around you. There is always something you can do. The doors that are open now are open to take you to the next door that help to fulfill your calling. It may not seem like much is happening now, but keep your eyes open to what's around you and what God is calling you to do now.
